Normal markup on OEM parts is about 70-80% and markup on aftermarket parts is normally in the 15-30% range. Quite a difference. In fact, a large portion of aftermarket parts are manufactured by the same companies that make the same parts for the OEM. So the parts are literally coming from the same factory! The difference in most instances is the packaging. So, if you want to pay up to 50% more for OEM parts because they come in a fancy OEM box, be my guest.
